Phenolic Foam/Polyurethane Sandwich Panel Production Line


Introduction of the Equipment

Phenolic Foam/Polyurethane Sandwich Panel Production Line is a professional machine for manufacturing Sandwich Panels of which the core material is phenolic foam or polyurethane it uses both layers embossed with aluminum foil, colored steel stainless steel, plywood or plastic plate.

The thickness capacity of sandwiched panels our machine can produce are 20-200mm, width of 1200mm and the length can be customized according to customers’ request. Our production line machine can be used to make other insulation panel as long as the surface material is changed.


Working principle of our production line machine

Raw materials are initially mixed at a specified ratio in the reacting tank installed above the production line machine. Then its injects the pre mixed resin formulas into the interlayer of the sandwich panel, Due to the resins chemical formula it reacts as a foaming agent and solidifies the inter layers with the core material. The sandwich formed panels will then go through a heating process to adhere inter layers and the core material to produce and assure a well solidify panels as a finished product.

The final product that has been produced as per customer’s requirement with the specified core and crust materials will then be cut to size according to the required lengths on the machine’s automatic track cutting device.

The Aluminium Foil Embossing Machine


The embossing machine includes three parts: the charging unit, the embossing unit and the winding unit.

It is used to emboss figures and logos under certain surface tension on the aluminum foil with a customizable capacity of Width’s (1200mm) thickness (0.08-0.12mm).


The Raw Material Distributor / The Raw Material Charging Unit

This device is installed at the forefront of the production line and the laminator. It can adjust the location and control the surface tension of the aluminum foil and or the colored steel before entering the laminator.


The Aluminium Foil/Colored Steel Pre-heating Installation

Before entering the injection machine, the temperature of the aluminum foil or the colored steel must meet the requirement of the foaming technology (PF or PU). Only then the thermodynamic cycle device on the production line can control the temperature of the aluminum foil or colored steel accordingly.


The Material-Baffling Mechanism

The material-baffling mechanism is used to stick Kraft paper to both sides of the upper & lower aluminum foil before entering the injection machine. This method will insure there is an enclosed area between the upper & lower aluminum foil. The Kraft paper will guaranty there will be no leakage of the raw/core materials when the machine is working.


The Reaction Injection Machine


The reaction injection machine is used to calculate the computation and mix raw materials pro rata. In order to make the temperature of the raw materials meet the requirement of the foaming technology, the machine is equipped with heating, refrigerating and temperature control devices.

In addition, operating technicians can control the pressure, the computation of the raw materials using this part of the machine. The process of injection, cleaning and sweeping are automatically controlled. The equipment is equipped with three tanks, two for resin, one for curing agent.


The Back-and-Forth Injection Machine


This machine is used to apply the mixture on the lower aluminum foil or the colored steel. The fluid mechanism directly drives the injection head; its speed, transverse moving distance, and motion control are adjustable and are easy to operate.
